Birds need grit during their life in order to make use of their feed. Suggested feeding for poultry are as follows:

• Chickens: 3 weeks – Adult: Feed free choice 

• Turkeys: 6 days – Adult: Feed free choice 

It is recommended that grit be fed free choice to all life stages. Place grit feeding stations near a clean water source. Birds will adjust consumption depending on individual needs. Always provide clean, fresh water.
